We require the services of a web-designer to design and construct a virtual gallery. The gallery is intended to host a symposium where there will be works that are exhibited permanently as well as a space for online zoom-type live panels and talks. The virtual gallery will be a repository of media - photography, film, music, academic papers, poetry some of which will be done live and others will be pre-recorded. The symposium will take place over two months- October and November. We are open to a discussion with interested parties as to how to realise this project.
Please send expressions of interests, quotes, as well links to previous sites that you have developed to Renée at breathsymposium2020@gmail.com
Timeframe for job:

Description of symposium
The title of the symposium is BREATH: INSPIRE/EXPIRE.
We will bring academics and artists together to creatively think about the many ways that breath and breathing feature in our everyday lives. We invite you to join us to collectively explore themes around breath - the physical processes to inhale, or inspire - and exhale, or expire - as well as metaphorical or conceptual extensions of what it means to inspire and expire.
The symposium will consist of a series of virtual events across October and November 2020. An anchor event will take place in both months and will be in conversation with a variety of other contributions including live panel discussions, online performances, circulated papers, music, films, and others pre-recorded content.
