One of the most dynamic Anthropology departments in Africa is looking to fill a 6-month teaching position starting in January 2020. The applicant will be teaching a 3rd year undergraduate course and/or a Masters’ course on a topic related to his or her expertise. Applicants are welcome to apply for the teaching of either or both courses. The successful applicant should have a PhD in hand or should be in the post-fieldwork/writing up phase of their PhD.

The incumbent will be expected to design the curriculum/curricula, deliver the undergraduate lectures and/or conduct weekly postgraduate seminars, consult with students registered for the course(s), and mark the required coursework and examination(s). The Anthropology Department will provide guidance if and where needed.

Qualification: PhD in hand or PhD candidate in the post-fieldwork/writing up phase of their PhD.
