The OTS Study Abroad in Global Health is seeking a Lecturer for their 2022 programme. The course runs during the period 18 July to 15 August 2022. You will spend a full 4 weeks with the course, which travels between Johannesburg, Wits Rural Facility, northern Limpopo and Kruger National Park. The programme, based in Skukuza, Kruger National Park, accepts students from both South Africa and the USA. It is a grant-funded contract that is renewable in the following year, based on performance.
The successful applicants will work closely with other staff and the Program Director in the design and implementation of rigorous field research programs and should be able to teach on some of the following topics: public health, epidemiology, research methods, ethics, policy, and history of the host country (South Africa). They would also be responsible for team teaching and the supervision of students’ independent research projects.
