“Connected Lives” – We would also like to take this opportunity to present the online launch of the recently published book: Connected Lives: Families, households, health and care in contemporary South Africa (HSRC Press 2020), edited by Nolwazi Mkhwanazi and Lenore Manderson. This unique book combines the work of about 40 contributors from a range of disciplines. We provide introductions to much of this work on the MHHA website and Youtube channel.
This is us – We are a network of practitioners, researchers, artists and activists across Africa interested in health related issues. Our aim is to bring people who are interested in or already working in this space together. We provide a space for people to showcase their projects and to provide information on work, exhibitions, projects, education, research and praxis related to medical and health humanities on the continent.
